Literacy & Pi Beta Phi
Pi Beta Phi's signature philanthropy, Read > Lead > Achieve®, draws on a century of service and thousands of volunteers to inspire a lifelong love of reading. In current society, one in four children will grow up functionally illiterate.* Through the Read > Lead > Achieve reading initiatives, Pi Beta Phi will create a more literate and productive society.
The Literacy Fund at Pi Beta Phi Foundation plays a critical role in the success of Read > Lead > Achieve. Gifts to The Literacy Fund support all Pi Phi reading initiatives under Read > Lead > Achieve, including Champions are Readers®, Arrow in the Arctic, Fraternity Day of Service, Pi Phi’s First Book® Partnership and much more.

Chapters and alumnae organizations making donations to literacy should use the FT1 and FT2 Gift Forms, located in the Resource Library.
