Since its founding in 1867, Pi Beta Phi, based in friendship and sisterhood, has attracted leaders – women who want to make a difference in both the lives of members and their communities.

In 1990, the Fraternity formalized its philanthropic vision by creating the        Pi Beta Phi Foundation, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization. Since that time, the Foundation has funded a broad range of philanthropic efforts including scholarships, leadership development programs and literacy initiatives.
